Being a working parent can be tough, with conflicting pressures on your time, energy and resourcefulness. Emotions can be overwhelming at time with guilt, worries and insecurities rising to the surface. Juggling family responsibilities with work commitments can feel like a losing battle.
Our working parent coaching support has been created to support parents, like you, who need some support with working out priorities, dealing with strong emotions and/or finding practical solutions to specific challenges. Our standard coaching programme gives you 3 coaching sessions (1 hour each) to address your challenges and find a way forward.
This is ideal for new parents as you adjust to your new role whilst managing work demands. Equally it is useful for working parents adjusting to a new or changing set of home or work situations.
The coaching will help you thrive both as a parent and in your work.
Once you have booked and paid for your coaching programme, a Career-Mums coach will be in touch with you within 24 hours to schedule your first session. This will normally take place by phone or Skype at a mutually convenient time. We recommend that you arrange to be in a quiet location, without distraction or interruption, where you are comfortable and feel safe to discuss your situation and fully participate in the coaching process. The other sessions will be scheduled at the end of the first session with a reasonable space between each session such as weekly or fortnightly.
